Thank you, Sarver Charitable Trust, for your support in the professional development of these teachers as they further embark in the CAPS program!

Our technology is being updated. This will cause internet outages for part of today and tomorrow. It will affect email and other electronic communications. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Day #2 of Youth Camp in the books. Proud of our young Bulldogs. Thankful for our HS athletes and Coach Brush for helping out. Day #3 tomorrow.

Hope your summer is going well. When you start thinking about what all is needed for coming back to school, don't forget healthcare. The state of Kansas requires all students to be immunized according to the KDHE chart (check their website or speak to your physician). If an immunization record or exemption form (can be found on KSDE website or online) is not on file with the school after 45 days from the start of the school year, students will not be allowed to attend classes. This is state law and will be enforced. Please direct any questions to the school nurse, Susan Windle or Ron Orsak.

Great first day of Junior Bulldog Basketball Camp. If you couldn’t make it today and want to get your kiddos involved feel free to show up on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thank you Coach Brush and the high school Bulldogs basketball players who helped out.

As temperatures warm up, we encourage you to enjoy our playgrounds and equipment. Please make sure to clean up after yourself and your pets 💩. There is a trash can at the south side of the playgrounds. Thanks.

Please considered being a driver for Osborne County schools. Training, testing & certification are paid for by the district. You could drive a route, for activities or both. If interested or want more information, contact Beth Schultze, Kathy Grabast or Ron Orsak; 785-346-2145.

I hope everyone’s summer breaks are off to a great start!
I want to make you aware of KSDE’s latest Insight Podcast as it contains information we think is critical to share with parents this summer. We brought in professionals from the Attorney General’s office and Kansas Bureau of Investigation to talk with Commissioner Watson and KSDE head school safety specialist John Calvert about what parents should know to keep kids safe online. This is particularly important to get the word out while kids are home unsupervised during the summer break.
