Nothing says Merry Christmas like an Alg 1 semester project!
Today's December Family groups celebrated OES students reading and attendance success! As well as, a kindness award and discussions of how to show respect at home and school. Finally, students and staff ended the day singing Christmas carols, which left everyone in the Christmas spirit.

4th grade had a sweet experience learning about sugar from sugar beets and sugar cane with Ms. Christina from Farm Bureau. They even got to make their own strawberry gum drop.

Trigonometry graphed their Sine, Cosine, & Tangent curves across a world map & created holiday treats based on a country they passed through! Porter: Gingerbread from Sweden, Ryah: Torta Caprese from South Africa, Ashlyn: Noon E Khamel from Iran, Mary: Krehulky from Czechoslovakia, Annie: Alfajores from Argentina.
