Trigonometry students finished the semester with their Chapter 3 projects of solving a winter themed story problem using Law of Sines, Law of Cosines, Heron's Formula, and/or Area of an Oblique Triangle!

In learning about volcanoes, the 4th graders got the opportunity to experiment with “lava” to see what makes some volcanoes explode, as others not. They also discovered why they are shaped differently.

Students created a Christmas themed movie involving a situation where the character(s) had to solve a trig problem. The 5 basic elements of a story line were required as well as costumes & props. Here are a few pictures from their videos!
