State FCCLA Results: Senior Chloe Behrens earned a silver in Early Childhood Education, advancing her to NATIONALS in San Diego, California. Juniors Allison Cole & Teagan Ellenz earned a gold in Focus on Children. Nice work to all three participants!



Fourth grade students have been testing different types of sound by using balloons. Sounds differentiate the vibrations on the balloon and help students learn about sound energy. #BulldogPower

Cloud County Community College visited OHS today to present information and give demonstrations on careers in drone technology, solar energy, and wind energy.

Mrs. Mick’s MTSS group is reading The Terrible Two on the Sora app, focusing on vocabulary and comprehension. In the book the main characters, Miles and Niles, join forces to become the school pranksters. Students read about Shirley Temples in the book and wanted to try them as group. #BulldogPower



OES students are exploring microscopes in our STEM workshops this month. We have added digital microscopes to our lab thanks to a grant from Vernier. Our school is one of only 40 in the US (including high schools and universities) to receive this grant for our STEM program. #BulldogPower
