Game wardens from Kansas Wildlife & Parks joined us for the Winter Fest Career Fair teaching us about their duties throughout the year. Landen Cleveland also talked about the importance of properly fitted lifejackets, & Todd Robinson covered our hunting seasons & native animals.









Brooke Mick, RRT; Bretton Wolters, RN; & Michele Watkins, CNO shared their expertise at the Winter Fest Career Fair. Mrs. Mick showed how the lungs & respiratory therapy works, Mrs. Watkins taught about heart health, & Miss Wolters shared about nursing & the schooling for it.

Kelli Wolters presented at the Winter Fest Career Fair, encouraging students to look into their hobbies & how they could possibly support their income. We were able to frost cookies as she explained her baking journey & the importance of lifelong learning!










Mrs Nipe's STEPS kids relished in their ice cream prize this week after winning the Christmas story door decorating contest.


4th grade had a Bunco Christmas Party this week!

Officers Eickenberg & Crawford spoke at the Winter Fest Career Fair about the difference between city & county police, training for the profession, & gear they wear & carry. Students helped each other get fingerprinted & learned about the uniqueness of each person's prints.











Ms. Wiles and Ms. Droppelmann were a dynamic duo this week with their twinning costumes!



The 12 Days of Christmas PTO Raffle has officially came to a close! Ms. Bertrand was the last winner, receiving a Hot Cocoa Mix and Mug! Congrats, Ms. Bertrand, and thank you, PTO!


Algebra 1 students finished up the semester with Christmas trees made of Quick Graph Ornaments, Real Number System Lights, Simplified Expression Garland, and Solved Equation Snowflakes!




Rachel Carpenter, RDH, from Down Home Dental presented at the Winter Fest Career Fair, teaching students about her profession as well as the importance of dental hygiene. She demonstrated how acid from sugar effects our teeth & taught us how to properly brush & floss!










Trig students reviewed Law of Sines & Cosines, verifying trigonometric identities, and area formulas by creating, solving, and depicting Christmas scenarios!






OES December Family Groups were spent celebrating our amazing students! We celebrated Readers of the Month, attendance awards and wrapped up group with singing Christmas carols.
