OJH and OHS vocal students wish everyone a Merry Christmas! They went caroling this week and stopped by a few places to spread good cheer.

Former graduate Harold Mischler served in a special unit during the Vietnam War. Additional art work and information has been added on the walll in the entrance to our competition gym. We thank Mr Mischler and his family for these items, as well as his service and sacrifice.


6th grade Social Studies sampled bread with olive oil and a variety of olives after learning about their importance to the Ancient Greek economy.

Gingerbread House Real Estate project: 5th grade addition! They had to design a house, find the cost of the items they would use, design a floor plan & find the area & perimeter of rooms in the house, & then finally write a real estate listing! Today, they created their houses!

Today's December Family groups celebrated OES students reading and attendance success! As well as, a kindness award and discussions of how to show respect at home and school. Finally, students and staff ended the day singing Christmas carols, which left everyone in the Christmas spirit.
