Camp Read-a-Lot is a K-5 literacy-based camp hosted by USD 392 Osborne County Schools Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. during June and July in the school library. Students just finishing kindergarten through grade five are invited to attend.

Registered participants read for 20 minutes followed by an activity. One hour maximum stay per participant. A grab-and-go lunch will be available through the summer meal program.

This program has been held in 2018, 2019, and 2021. it was initially jump-started with a Dane G. Hansen Foundation Summer Literacy grant.
