USD 392 Library

Our library is a shared resource for our entire school district and students of all ages. The school library is a classroom, but also a place filled with happiness, joy, and the opportunity to discover. We want every student, preschool through grade twelve, who visits our library to feel welcome and inspired to read. In addition, the library is home to the elementary STEM lab.

During this unprecedented time, we are offering the following Virtual Library Resources as part of our Continuous Learning Plan. Usernames and passwords can be obtained from classroom teachers. Big Read 2020: March 9 - April 9

The Big Read 2020 is a community literacy event hosted by USD 392 and the Osborne Public Library. Wishtree, by Katherine Applegate, is the featured book. Copies will be distributed to all students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The book is also available to the public through the Osborne Public Library. 


Camp Read-a-Lot 2020

Students who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to participate in our summer literacy camp. Now entering the third year, Camp Read-a-Lot is a twice-weekly opportunity in June and July for youth to read and participate in a literacy-related activity.

2020 Book Fair: November 7, 9-13

Mark your calendar for the Scholastic Book Fair. Our time lab will be full of amazing new books, activity kits, and fun trinkets.
