Will there be a Scholastic Book fair this year? Yes! In fact, there are two book fairs planned.
Our fall book fair will look a little different, but it will still be amazing. USD 392 will host an online Scholastic Book Fair November 9-22, 2020. Plus, an in-person book fair is tentatively scheduled for March 2021.
Even though the fall book fair will be online, students will still have the opportunity to see book fair previews and partake in related activities during the coming weeks.
We also hope the community will continue to support the book fair in a new format. The book fair has traditionally been a great source for holiday gifts and will continue to be this year. Online orders will ship directly to your home address.
In addition, the book fair is the largest fundraiser of the year for our school library. We are able to earn credits to purchase new books for students through this event. Continued support of our book fair, in either format, will help support childhood literacy in your home and school.
